Ravenpaw finds Fireheart while he is out hunting with Sandstorm and Brightpaw. He tells him of a ThunderClan cat near his home. Realizing it is Cloudpaw, Fireheart sets off to find him immediately with Sandstorm insisting she tag along. They get attacked by dogs along the way but are able to safely make it to the Twoleg nest that Cloudpaw is at. Couldpaw sees them and escapes. He admits he learned his mistake and wishes to come back to clan life.
On the way back they are attacked by a WindClan patrol and Sandstorm is impressed by Cloudpaw's fighting skills. Back at camp Fireheart worries how everyone will take Cloudpaw's return, but most are happy he is back. Bluestar allows Cloudpaw's return, but Fireheart warns Cloudpaw that if he ever catches him accepting food from Twolegs again he will chase him out of the clan himself.
Fireheart dreams of a mist over the forest and blackened trees that crowd him. He sees Spottedleaf but she will not answer his questions before running away. He awakens uneasy from the dream and smells fire.
There is really not much to talk about for these four chapters. I am glad Cloudpaw is back, and hopefully he has learned his lesson. However, if Fireheart is awakening to a fire in their camp that is the worst thing that could happen to them right now. Between Tigerclaw's revenge, Darkstripe's constant calculating looks, and Bluestar's constant fear and uneasiness this clan needs something good to happen to them, not something bad.
